The First Letter…
Dear Reader,
Welcome to Letters From Tempereo, the very first missive in what I hope becomes something warm, curious, and quietly magical. Whether you arrived here by curiosity, Instagram link or a whisper from the stars—thank you. This world—Averis— has lived in my chest a long time. It began with a dream I couldn’t shake and turned into a book thats still unfolding, chapter by chapter, character by character.
This letter is a small doorway into that world.
Introducing Tempereo
Tempereo is one of the oldest kingdoms in Averis. Known for its violet banners and silver silk, it holds its secrets close. Tradition is law here. Memory is power. And loyalty… well, that’s more complicated than it seems.
You won’t meet its royalty today, or the ones who carry its burdens—but soon. For now, imagine a palace at dusk. A kingdom just beginning to stir.
Writing Update
Right now, I’m writing through Chapter 25, and as always, the process is a mix of momentum, mood, and a slightly dramatic number of snacks.
This chapter has a quieter tone—its one of those transitional scenes that helps connect the emotional threads I’ve been weaving since the early chapters. At the same time, I’ve been revising earlier sections, smoothing edges, re-reading whats already been written, and taking notes as the story deepens.
Theres something oddly magical about editing and drafting at the same time—it feels like walking through a space you’re still building.
A Line That Stayed With Me
“She loved Orion. I could see it in the way her gaze drifted towards him when she thought no one noticed, and in the way he looked at her like she was the only light left in a darkening world. It was the kind of love that shifts kingdoms. The kind that rewrites futures.”
Let’s Make This A Conversation
This newsletter isn’t just me shouting into the void (though I’ve done that… many times). I want this to be a space where you can ask questions, suggest topics, or just tell me what character you’re secretly obsessed with.
You can tell me:
— What you’d love to see in future letters (worldbuilding? writing process? a peek at the map?)
— Any burning questions you have about the story, the characters, or the unhinged notes app that fuels it
— Or just drop a “hi” and tell me you’re here (it matters more than you think)
